300 extended trailer easter egg!

For those who didn’t know, the director of 300, Zack Snyder, is slated to direct an adaptation of another graphic novel, Alan Moore’s “Watchmen”. “Watchmen” is the tremendous work written by Alan Moore and drawn by Dave Gibbons that has been listed as one of the all-time 100 novels from 1923 till now by Time magazine in 2005. There have been many attempts to adapt and produce a Watchmen movie for the big screen since the late 1980s and recently it was confirmed that Zack Snyder is going to helm this long-awaited project!

After seeing what a fantastic job he did with 300, we here at See What Show can’t wait for the Watchmen movie to be completed!

So when we stumbled upon this easter egg in the extended trailer for 300, we got back on our chairs after falling off of them and decided to share this with you folks out there!

In an extended trailer of 300 that can be seen on YouTube, if you scroll to the 1:52 mark, you can see a hidden easter egg image of Rorschach, one of the characters in Watchmen, holding up the iconic smiley face badge belonging to another character, The Comedian, with the Empire State Building in the background!

According to the guys at aintitcool, this is an actual test image of a test shot done by Zack Snyder himself! This is big news as this is the first piece of movie work ever done for Watchmen!

We can’t wait!
