So the big winner of the night was The Departed with 4 Oscars followed by Pan’s Labyrinth with 3 Oscars! Dreamgirls, Little Miss Sunshine and An Inconvenient Truth brought up the rear with not-too-shabby tallies of 2 Oscars apiece. Martin Scorsese got his long-awaited Best Director Oscar and American Idol 2004 finalist Jennifer Hudson’s lives the dream with her Best Supporting Actress win for her first movie, Dreamgirls.
