Most anime-fans would prbably have watched death note so a question. Do you prefer the movie or anime. I haven't watched the movie myself but from what i heard i think i prefer the anime
1. L is actually meant to be english so its a lil awkward la, seeing a jap ang moh...
2. I think they changed the ending of the movie. Not only did they shorten it and hence, exclude many interesting arcs, they also changed the outcome. -

1. I'd say it's very, very hard to find a caucasian man who actually looks and speaks like L
2. That was a good way to end the whole thing and not leave any endings for greedy bosses to try to make another one to make more money and spoil it.
Many people agrees the anime sucks big time beyond the point where L dies. I personally stopped the anime after a while and was content to know "somewhat" what happened. -

well i continued after L died and i think that it retains its slick-ness and coolness.. i really still love death note despite no L. In any case, i'd highly recommend the anime to everyone.
